Luganodes now serves as an institutional staking service provider for TRX inside Trezor Suite, giving institutional and retail investors a cold storage option for staking TRON and earning yield. Trezor, the hardware wallet pioneer since 2014, has secured over 2 million users worldwide with open-source, PIN-protected devices built to keep private keys fully offline. The partnership extends that same offline security to TRX staking, letting Trezor's global user base earn rewards without their keys ever leaving cold storage.
A hardware wallet keeps private keys inside a physical device itself. Keys are generated on-device and never leave it, even while the device is connected to a computer or phone over USB-C or Bluetooth. Every staking transaction requires a manual approval on the device's own screen, so a compromised host cannot move funds or forge a signature on its own.
This gives institutions a cold storage option for staking that meets standard custody security requirements, and gives retail investors the same offline protection without specialized infrastructure. TRX can be staked and held securely within the same environment.
“People think they have to choose. Either you hold your own keys, or you put your crypto to work. You don't have to choose. When you stake TRX through Trezor Suite, your keys stay on the hardware wallet, offline, and every transaction is approved on the device itself. Luganodes runs the validator, the rewards come back to you, and you stay in control the whole time.”

Trezor, built by SatoshiLabs, launched the first hardware wallet in 2014 and has since secured over 2 million users. Its current lineup, the Trezor Safe 3, Safe 5, and Safe 7, runs on open-source firmware that has been audited continuously by the broader cryptocurrency community, a transparency standard the company has maintained since its founding. Trezor Suite, the companion desktop and mobile app, manages hundreds of supported assets and already offers staking for Ethereum and Cardano through existing infrastructure partners.
In its June 2026 update, Trezor Suite added full account management support for TRON (TRX) to all users, taking the network out of experimental status. Trezor Connect, the company's integration layer, also extends hardware-secured signing to third-party software wallets including MetaMask, Rabby, and Backpack, reflecting Trezor's broader push to make cold storage interoperable with the wallets and chains people already use.
Within this expanded TRON support, Luganodes joins as a staking service provider Trezor Suite users can choose when staking TRX. Luganodes operates as a Super Representative on TRON, holding a top position in native staking with 99.98% block production, a track record built on the same non-custodial principles Trezor applies to key management. Staking TRX with Luganodes through Trezor Suite means user's tokens never leave their hardware wallet: the device signs the staking transaction, Luganodes runs the validator infrastructure, and rewards accrue back to the staker's own address every epoch.
For Trezor's user base, this turns TRX from a stored asset into a productive one without introducing custodial risk. For Luganodes, it extends institutional-grade validator infrastructure to individual self-custody users through one of the most trusted hardware wallet brands in the industry.
This partnership reflects Luganodes' commitment to making institutional-grade staking infrastructure available wherever users choose to hold their assets. By becoming a TRX staking service provider inside Trezor Suite, Luganodes extends secure, reliable staking to a global base of self-custody users. Together, Luganodes and Trezor are building toward a staking experience where security and yield no longer require a trade-off.
