While this tutorial uses the Odyssey testnet, the same steps will apply to the mainnet once it goes live. Step 1: Access the Staking Dashboard

• Open the Story Protocol Staking Dashboard.

• Select the Odyssey testnet as the network. Once the mainnet launches, an option to switch networks will be available, but the staking process will remain the same.

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet

• Click on Connect Wallet.

• Choose your wallet provider. For this guide, we are using Metamask, but other wallet options are also supported.

• Approve the connection request in your wallet.

Step 3: Select a Validator

• From the list of validators, select Luganodes for reliable uptime and fair commission rates. For mainnet: You can choose either Luganodes 1 or Luganodes 2, both are operated by us.

• Clicking on Luganodes will open the validator page, showing detailed information such as:

• Your available IP balance.

• Your current staked amount with the validator.

• Overview, Commission and Stake Info.

Step 4: Stake Your IP Tokens

1. Click on Stake to begin staking.

2. A pop-up will appear with:

• Minimum staking amount (1024 IP).

• Supported staking periods.

4. Use the dropdown menu to select your preferred staking period.

5. Enter the amount of IP tokens you wish to stake.

6. Click on Stake IP to proceed.

7. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Step 5: Verify and Refresh

• Once the transaction is processed, you will see a green confirmation button indicating that your selected amount is staked successfully.

• Use the View Transaction link to verify the transaction on the blockchain.

• Refresh the Validator Page on the staking dashboard to see your updated staked amount reflected.
