Built on Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC), a proven MIT-developed technique, Optimum introduces a new architecture for modular, permissionless, and scalable memory infrastructure — bringing high-speed data propagation, efficient memory access, and lower bandwidth costs to every layer of the Web3 stack.

A New Memory Layer for Blockchains

By using RLNC, OptimumP2P significantly reduces redundancy and latency in message propagation across nodes. Luganodes is currently participating in the OptimumP2P private testnet.

Decentralized Memory Reimagined

Next on the roadmap for Optimum are two decentralized memory solutions: DeROM and DeRAM. DeROM provides efficient storage for historical state (Archive) and transaction data (DA). DeRAM is a decentralized memory object that supports atomic read/write operations with low latency and high availability for current state data. These future products alongside OptimumP2P will form the robust high-performance memory unit for the world computer.
